Carrick NS Ballinlough is a 4 teacher mainstream school. We teach all the curricular subjects including English, Gaeilge, Maths, History, Geography, Science, Music, Physical Education, Drama, SPHE and Religion. We have a GAA school football teams, basketball teams, soccer teams and rounders teams. We have a school choir for 3rd – 6th class pupils. We cater for pupils of all cultures, faiths and levels of ability. We are active participants in the Green Schools Project and have 4 Green Flags to date for promoting awareness and good practices around our four green flags in 1.litter and waste, 2. water, 3. energy and 4.travel. Address: Ballinlough, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. Our enrolment process begins in January and February each year with an information evening for parents in January. Please email the school before this to express your interest in enrolling your child. We will then inform you of the date and time of the information evening. Enrolment forms will be handed out at the information evening or can be collected from the school office.

Open times: Doors open at 9:10am for 10min morning drop off.

Classes 9:20am – 2pm (Junior/Senior Infants)

Classes 9:20am – 3pm (1st Class – 6th class).
