Lake O’Flynn and District Anglers Association help to promote Lake O’Flynn as a trout angling and recreational amenity. The club is affiliated with the Trout Anglers Federation of Ireland, we hold a number of angling competitions throughout the year that attracts anglers from all over Ireland. We are proactive and are always in support of local community initiatives, in the past our members have been involved in litter clean-ups and have also organised a charitable donation. The club has also showcased Lake O’Flynn as an angling destination and has helped to host events such as the Connaught Youths Fly Championships and the Irish Ladies Fly Fishing Association qualifiers on a number of occasions The club also has a number of club boats on the lake which are free to access for paid up members.
